Iranian Christian Maryam Naghash Zargaran returned to prison after medical parole –
only to be told her sentence had been extended by 45 days! She returned to Evin
Prison on Tuesday. Maryam had been granted a five-day leave which was extended
by a court ruling as she appealed for conditional release. Her plea was rejected
– and prison officials then punished her for not returning to jail ‘on time’.
Her health remains poor, despite other periods of medical
leave. Please pray that God would heal
her and strengthen her.
