That the EU (especially Tusk?) has included negotiations between
Spain and the UK over the future of Gibraltar as part of Brexit negotiations is
utterly contemptible.
The Gibraltarians have TWICE voted in referenda - with almost 100%
in both cases - in favour of remaining with Britain. (So much for the EU being a
democratically-based organisation!) And what about Ceuta & Melilla? - Are
they to be negotiated away by Spain?
The Rock was yielded to the UK in perpetuity by treaties in Sevilla
and Paris after the War of Spanish Succession. End of.
Britain has always said that Gib' can make her own democratic
choices! What more need we say?
What of The Falklands - EXACTLY the same criteria
apply.
What of Kosovo which the EU was happy to see stolen from Serbia by
the artificial creation of a (largely illegal) migrant majority?
