I recall the days when cancer, if not actually rare, was not something which you used to meet incessantly. Let us remember too that this was in the days when a huge proportion of the population were smokers.
Our prayer groups spend large portions of our time praying for those with cancer. It is something which has now become prevalent in our world.
It is not for me to speculate why and attempts to link this to the godlessness of our nation may well be correct but are thoroughly unprovable. There is no such thing as karma in our world. In this life you may very well not get what you deserve.
The facts are simple. I know far too large a number of people suffering with the disease or its after effects; I know so many people with friends, colleagues and family suffering the effects of this monstrosity.
Yesterday, I learned of TWO people known to me, reported as having this curse in a single day. In secular terms - one is likely to recover - and one not.
We pray against cancer; we pray for healings; we pray for the overworked NHS.
Perhaps it is time for all Christians to pray with a more radical approach.
Let us all pray God's curse upon this vile entity! God did not create cancer - but it was certainly a consequence of The Fall.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
