‘This is the cry of a father, unjustly imprisoned’
|
Hi,
Pastor Nadarkhani is making a stand for faith and a future. Join him. Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani has been fighting for his children’s right to be exempted from Islamic religious classes for 11 years. Originally arrested in 2009 after questioning the Muslim monopoly on religious education in Iran, he was charged with, then acquitted of apostasy in 2012, and released in 2013. On 13 May 2016 Pastor Nadarkhani was arrested once again, and he’s currently serving a ten-year prison sentence alongside three other Christians for “acting against the national security through propagating house churches and promoting Zionist Christianity.” To make matters worse, both of his sons have now been prevented from carrying on their schooling until they agree to take Islamic religious classes. Pastor Nadarkhani is supporting them from prison the only way he can: by going on hunger strike. Support his courageous stand – add your name to the Faith and a Future petition now. Dave Campaigns team P.S. Once you’ve signed the petition, keep praying for Pastor Nadarkhani’s health and protection – his blood pressure was unusually low yesterday but we understand it has now stabalised. |
