1914 - 1918 In Colour. Sony.

I have just watched this documentary for the first time.
It completely erases from its history the small fact that Britain was bound by treaty to to lend help and protection to Belgium, in the event of invasion: The Treaty of London, 1839.
The butchery committed by the Kaiser's hordes in Belgium was more than enough to have justified our entry into that conflict.
It makes it sound as though we entered World War One on a whim - grossly misleading! - But then, so many of these left-based documentaries are incredibly cavalier with facts, especially where The Great War was concerned.
So many of them make us sound as bad as that lunatic, the Kaiser Wilhelm, who actually fomented the war; had planned for it for in excess of a decade; had pre-armed for it and who had offered his protection to the misdeeds of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

All of this being said, the documentary also had some good points.
