England Crumble In Third T20.

England had the game in the palms of their hands this morning in Nelson. Victory was assured - and then, in the last quarter of their chase of 181, the wickets began to tumble for no particular reason: the away team lost by fourteen runs and now trail by 2 games to 1 in the five match series.
England's bowling during the power play was badly offline but self-corrected as the game progressed with some lovely bowling later on by the Curran brothers - especially Tom.
Pat Brown did okay but Mahmood had his second shocking game in a row. Him going for 49 was surely the difference between the two sides.
Now, we know that this is essentially a 'B' team with a sprinkling of regular internationals but this was just not good enough with the bat. Losing FIVE wickets for ten runs in the death overs was especially shameful.
Banton looked the part at the top of the innings and there was a good fifty from Malan and one short of that from Vince.
The problem however was, that it was actually the experienced batsmen in Morgan, Malan and Vince who were incapable of carrying England over the line - and leaving an impossible task for the lower order.
