My Near Blunder.

Yesterday, I was in the local ALDI car park where I came close to making an astonishing blunder but by good fortune, I got away with it by not having addressed the man.
The guy was wearing a high visibility jacket and picking up a few odd bits of litter.
I assumed - how foolish to assume anything, innit? - I assumed that he was a parking attendant.
It was only when I saw his jacket from behind that I realised what an appalling social blunder that could so easily have been.
Apparently, he was actually a Car Park Marshall. Phew!
