We are informed that this description is 'not to be confused with feminism itself' but the overlap is horrendous along with more than a soupçon of leftist-inspired politicking to make it even less appealing.
A truly liberal society would simply ask for equal treatment but few acknowledged feminists fail to go way beyond that point in their demands.
If honest to goodness equality is the true aim, then I am indeed a feminist! Let us start by no longer failing to jail criminals who are women, when men will be incarcerated for identical offences.
Interesting how many women complained about equalising the age for old age pensions, innit? - And this is when women actually live longer than men do!
There is far too much 'special pleading'.
