Avarice - A Deadly Sin.

There is a fine line between handling your finances with common sense along with more than a nod towards charitable giving, as opposed to seeking to accumulate purely for the sake of it.

The Scriptures tell us 'the love of money is the root of much evil'.
Like very many things - from books to Internet, from TV to cash, there is nothing intrinsically wrong with so many parts of our lives. It is how we use them and what attitude we adopt towards them.
Let nothing in our living incline us towards these kinds of secondhand idolatry.
