Flybe on the BRINK: Airline bosses locked in crisis talks as 2,000 jobs could be axed

FLYBE was locked in crisis talks to prevent the airline going into administration as 2,000 jobs were put at risk on Sunday night.

I am sorry to throw paraffin onto the flames but Mrs Blogger's experiences and my own with FLYBE were even worse than those we've had with British Airways.
Several years ago, we had booked, I think, three return flights with the airline. These produced some ten problems - some were as trivial as inefficient staff cancelling flights and not informing us; bumping us off half full aircraft and many more besides.
The Embraer aircraft were superbly comfortable for economy class and their cabin staff were excellent.
Administratively, however ... well, oh dear.
It it took us three weeks to get management to stop ignoring our complaints and that was only because Mrs Blogger had started outlining the facts on Facebook.
After causing us considerable distress and over a sustained period, they did not even offer us anything whatsoever to placate us.
Jet2 is our go-to airline and FLYBE lost our custom for all time!
