Okay the pitch was short and very dry. It was taking spin from the very first over but - oh - at least 6 wickets were cast away carelessly in just over two sessions.
'Duckers' got a very mean gazunder after making 50; a fine 90 from Jamie Smith; a decent effort by Gus Atkinson to support Smith - and that was that.
Shocking to watch and risked the series being chucked away - on Day One of a five day match!
Unprofessional - was my overall take on the proceedings.
