It is a well known and self evident fact that every nation with the word 'democratic' in its title is in fact, a dictatorship.
In similar vein, whenever the EU begins to talk about 'participatory democracy' (on the agenda for next week) you must always remember what the acquis commaunitaire principle actually means in real life!
