'A VILE organisation' BBC blasted over 'disgraceful' treatment of Sir Cliff Richard
THE BBC has been branded a "disgrace" and a "vile organisation" over its
coverage of the sex abuse claims made against Sir Cliff Richard.
On Thursday morning it was announced the Crown Prosecution Service
had dropped the investigation into
historic sexual abuse claims made against the singer due to "insufficient
evidence".
The singer’s home was raided in August 2014, with the search filmed by
the BBC after it was given tip-off by police.
Lawmakers branded the co-operation between the police and the BBC as
"inept" and causing "irreparable damage" to the singer's
reputation.
Speaking on LBC, presenter Steve Allan hit out at the BBC over their
treatment of the 75-year-old.
