23% of those who voted Labour at the last general election – around 1,800 voters – backed the Lib Dems, according to exit polling by Lord Ashcroft.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!

Anti-Abortion: Andy Stephenson.
Brighton Argus features exclusive interview with Andy Stephenson
Andy Stephenson from pro-life group Abort 67 has
appeared in the Brighton Argus's "your
interview" feature this week where he answered a number of questions from
readers about his work.Andy and his fellow campaigners display images of aborted babies outside abortion clinics. They remain silent, unless approached and engaged in conversation by others.
Speaking to the Argus, he said: I founded Abort67 to drive a spoke into the wheel of the abortion industry. Yes it is based on my belief system; the belief system that it is wrong to kill human beings. I was stirred to do it shortly after seeing our daughter flailing around on an ultrasound screen at 12 weeks into the pregnancy. Shortly afterwards I saw a picture of an aborted child of the same age. I couldn’t get the picture out of my head and that was the start of it all."
Whither UKIP?
The question is an easy one to answer -
onwards and upwards.
There are some factors which most journalists have not been taking fully into account.
Firstly - this is 'a protest vote' which ain't gonna go away.
Secondly - Ukip, from here on, is going to be the repository of almost all those lovely 'protest votes'. The English Democrats, the fading BNP - and even the super-leftist Greens are all going to be badly hit by this consolidation.
This factor alone will strengthen Ukip enormously.
Thirdly - The party should now consolidate its base by electing councillors at an unprecedented rate in May.
Fourthly - It has taken years to achieve but that large proportion of voters out there who have no political interest have now heard about the party. The mainstream parties cannot tap into this group. Ukip can!
Finally, they are well on course to win the EU elections in June 2014 - and intelligent, recent moves in the party will ensure that the very best available candidates will be elected - not something which has always happened in the past.
(The Lib Dems held Eastleigh. Big deal! - It is just a blip - they are on the fast track to history.)

Rural Euroscepticism: No Surprise. They See How EU Works In Practice.
In an article on euroscepticism in rural areas, the
Economist cites an Ipsos-MORI poll from 2012 which found that rural
voters were twice as likely as urban voters to regard the EU as a pressing
concern.

Roads Scam.
Ooh goodie! The government wants to charge us for driving on the inadequate road system that we have already paid for.
All extra taxation should be fought tooth and nail!
PS. Dave. Have you no inkling why so few people rate either you or your hotchpotch administration?

Farage On The Mark.
Writing for The Huffington Post UK following his party's humiliation of David Cameron, Farage said it was a "truly spectacular result" that was "really the start of something".
He claimed that had the Lib Dems not been able to get a substantial number of postal votes in the bag ahead of polling day his candidate Diane James would now be the Ukip's first elected MP.

Oh Dear, Coffee Is Back To Being Dangerous.
Caffeine is so dangerous that it should be regulated like alcohol and cigarettes, warns leading expert
Dr Jack James, editor in chief of the Journal of Caffeine Research, says the stimulant is causing 'untimely deaths' and its 'lethality' is being underestimated.
I am going to give it up, I think!
No. Not coffee - READING!

Ending 40 Years Of Idiocy And ...

The 'Gospel' Of Peter.
The 'Gospel of Peter' is pseudepigraphical. No serious scholar accepts
Peter as the author. It is dated to the second half of the second century!!!
Even if it did contain a limited merit - it could not pass scrutiny from
the apostolic fathers as being reliable. Consequently - it had to be
rejected. Why is their judgement challenged all these years later with less knowledge than they had at their fingertips?
Possibly the main reason for their decision is that so much of the content is wild,
extravagant and simply beyond all belief.See some of this rubbish and you begin to see what a good job was done in producing the New Testament canon.
The 'axe to grind brigade' are at work again!
Book Of Mormon - The Musical.
I am thoroughly disgusted from having seen a clip on TV of The Book Of
Mormon - a Broadway musical which has now opened in the West End.
Much as I despise cults, much as I am horrified by their actions and corrupting influences - to mock and vilify sincere but heavily misguided people in this disgraceful way sickens me to the core.
They should be challenged both intellectually and scripturally - that is 100% correct but this, from the makers of the equally wretched South Park, should be shunned by all believers and right-thinking people.
Malice and overtones of schoolyard bullying should never receive our money in the form of tickets.

The Hash The UK Has Made Of Edukashun - Can We Be Surprised?
The number of children identified with learning difficulties in England is five times the European average because schools too often classify under-performing pupils as having special educational needs, it was claimed last night.A fifth of pupils, or 1.6million, have been identified as having special educational needs (SEN).They represent 19.8 per cent of the school population, compared with an EU average of 4 per cent, according to an analysis of European Commission figures from 29 countries. The statistics are revealed in a book from the ARK Schools chain of academies and the CentreForum think-tank which claims youngsters are being routinely over-classified as having SEN.
