Death Sentences.

'The three men connected with the 2010 Our Lady of Salvation church attack in central Baghdad, Iraq, which killed 52 people, have had their death sentences confirmed.
They were initially sentenced to death on Aug. 2, 2011, with an accomplice receiving 20 years in prison, and now the Iraqi appeals court confirmed that the men will be executed for their crimes.' AFP reported. (Christian Post.)
Killing people indiscriminately with a planted bomb is perhaps as heinous a crime as any I can think of. How embarrassing that an Islamic country can, on occasion, have a better perception of what justice is than what we have in the UK where a pretty meaningless 'life sentence' in similar circumstance fails markedly to deliver.
Even so. It is right and proper that we pray that these men will find Jesus in the days that remain to them. If we hold bitterness in our hearts - that places us neatly in the wrong.
