The expats out here from the UK, Norway, Sweden, Germany and Belgium et al, are pouring vast sums into the Spanish economy via second homes, pensions, investments and savings. A certain amount of employment is created from workmen of these nationalities servicing these communities. These expats are a social positive.
Nonetheless, there are the 'other' immigrants aplenty from N. Africa and the Eastern members of the EU who, as economic migrants are 'taking Spanish jobs'.
