I am not a gamblin' man at all but I might be prepared to have a small wager on what I think is not so much a risk but, in all probability, a stone cold certainty.
I predict that before the end of this Parliament, Clegg and co will create some spurious 'principle' and will withdraw from the coalition leaving the tories high and dry.
This tactic will be an attempt to make friends with former Lib Dem voters who were alienated when the coalition was first formed.
