Are you aware just how many middle-aged and older people have problems with knees, hips and lower back whilst getting into/out of the many low slung vehicles that are on sale today?
Makers, are you not aware how many are desperate for vehicles which they can slide across into rather than being forced to engineer a tricky descent?
(Some of us are no longer capable of even getting into an MG Midget or similar.)
British built Kia Vengas do the job. Merivas do that job too. Offhand, I can't think of too many others without having to buy a larger and significantly more expensive vehicle.
