'Lost my sight, my job, my wife and my marriage': Policeman shot in face by Raoul Moat found dead after tweeting 'RIP PC Rathband'
PC David Rathband, 44, was found dead by officers at his home in Blyth, Northumberland (pictured above). He had posted a number of messages on Twitter about the breakdown of his marriage in the days leading up to his death, one of which read: 'RIP PC Rathband.' In December, he announced the end of his 20-year marriage to his wife Kath (pictured, left). PC Rathband, 44, survived after he was shot twice at close range by Raoul Moat (inset, right) as he sat in his car in Newcastle upon Tyne in July 2010. (Mail.)
