Quoted by Peter Oborne in The Telegraph, Mark Oaten the former Lib Dem MP states: “ ... to walk out of a ministerial car and into an election campaign. There must be a clear and decisive rupture between the coalition parties well before a general election, otherwise the smaller party will always be obliterated.”
This Blog has been strongly predicting just such a scenario. Interesting that a significant Lib Dem commentator seems also to be hinting that the Lib Dems may well pull out of the coalition to serve their own interests rather than those of the nation!
