Pray For The Persecuted.

A former Islamic cleric who became a Christian has been attacked in his home in Pakistan.
Release partners say 'Peter', whose story we covered in November's Release magazine, has been driven from his home along with his wife. They describe the attack as 'ruthless'.
The motive for the assault was Peter's conversion to Christ. He had taught in a mosque for 11 years before Christ came to him in a dream. He told Release: 'Jesus Christ said to me that he had purchased me by his blood.'
At that time, Peter was forced to flee his home and was estranged from his wife and children. But his wife later had a dream in which God appeared to her and told her to support her husband. Now they have been forced to leave their home again. His wife is unwell with a lung infection.
Peter's overcoming faith is inspirational. He told Release: 'I am very happy being a Christian. Even in the sufferings, the persecution, every problem, every difficulty, makes me strong in my faith.'
