John Ferguson.

John Ferguson has been executed in Florida for being one of a group which butchered six people in an armed robbery in Carol City and he went on to slaughter two schoolgirls!
It was argued by 'the usual suspects' that he should have been spared his fate as he was schizophrenic.
If he was to be exempted from punishment because of his stated condition then - how could you possibly justify locking him up at all? Protection of the public does not seem particularly high in the thinking, does it?
The only qualm I have about this is the absurd amount of time that the process has taken.
Is the world a better or worse place without Ferguson?
Furthermore, I note that he has had a significant length of time to make his peace with Jesus - something which he certainly did not grant to his victims.
Perhaps we should cage dangerous dogs for life instead of putting them down!
