Sunk... by EU quotacrats: One Dutch trawler gets a quarter of England's entire fish quota while English fishermen are allowed just two crates worth £50.
Dutch trawler Cornelis Vrolijk (main) holds nearly 23 per cent of the entire English fishing quota. British crews are forced to throw back the majority of their catch on many trips due to the strict limitations. Fishermen like Paul Joy (top left) are allowed to keep just two half-filled plastic trays worth £50. European rules mean foreign-owned boats are allowed to access the UK quota. Some 43 per cent of England's fishing quota is held by foreign businesses.
