When your pet EU voter is ranting about the EU - PIN THEM DOWN! (No. Boris - I did not mean literally.)
Ask the europhile to give you a list of all, or indeed any, provable (mere opinions not allowed )  benefits that the EU has brought the UK in 41 years. 
One small rider - it must not be anything that a free UK government would have almost certainly introduced anyway.
Simple rules. Broad parameters. Make them realise that they are WAFFLING!
