Insomnia.

No doubt many will have noted that my postings are often placed on the Blog in the wee small hours of the morning.
This results from my insomnia. I go to bed early and sleep for between three and three and a half hours. This is quality sleep. I may get up for several hours and return to bed or I may then stay up. If I have returned to bed, the best I can expect is an hour and a half of very poor REM sleep.

The knock-on effects into the day are phenomenal and I must have a post prandial nap in order to get me through the afternoon and evening.
