The Shroud of Turin. I HATE Relics!

Christianity and relics have nothing in common. They are most emphatically NOT 'builders of faith'. On the contrary, they open up a world of sleight of hand, downright fraud and the basest superstition.
The Shroud of Turin is no exception. Look how much it has diverted people from experiencing The Living Jesus for themselves.
Thomas de Wesselow is the latest to turn out a book on the subject laden with imagination, 'what ifs' and rampant speculation. He does this, according to the Telegraph, by doing no new research but by bringing together a veritable plethora of theories and 'rearranging the pieces of the jigsaw'.
(In addition - a number of his conclusions are pure heresy.)
