In countless dictatorial nations throughout the world, over a period of two thousand years, christianity has been persecuted.
Times-a-many this has brought about a major release of spiritual power and instead of withering on the vine as 'common sense' might indicate would be the outcome - The Church has strengthened and grown under persecution.
The USSR and China have been two good examples.
Is there some kind of 'tipping point' when this occurs? - And if so, how much do Christians have to endure in the UK and The West in general before that happens? Do the attacks need to be direct and violent or will calculated undermining of the Christian Faith accomplish this? - On that point, I really do not know.
But it will happen. (Unless End Time events should happen to overtake the situation.) History is behind that opinion.
