I HAVE been to various places today, and my visits included a shop, garage, bank, pub and a builders’ merchant.
When leaving each of the aforementioned premises, I was bade an enthusiastic
farewell with the inviting, or perhaps, threatening statement: “See you
later”.
As it is most unlikely I shall repeat any of these individual adventures for some considerable time, should I return soon to each establishment, if only to show my face?
Even some newsreaders join in on the “see you later” theme after completing their bulletins!
I remain utterly perplexed!
