We have finally got a major historical drama on TV
which is NOT about the ruddy Tudors!
Okay. I know that Philippa Gregory is
not in the Hilary Mantel class as a writer - and there has been a tad too much
simpering in the opening episodes - but it is about Edward The Fourth. Yippee! A
much welcomed departure to a fascinating period of
history!
