No Austerity Because It Isn't Nice.

Yesterday, I listened to an economic infant called Sam Fairbairn from The People's Assembly on Radio Humberside. This leftist group - made up of Labourites and Greens - says 'no' to austerity - and wants to magic money out of the air to solve all of our problems. His solution was to stop tax evasion (which would be quite nice if achievable) and to wreck the defence budget even further.
We are in massive debt and apparently, we must spend our way out of recession, presumably with money we shall have to borrow or print! (If only he had known more about how FDR's 'priming the pump' had actually worked.)
He was easily savaged by a local Tory MP who legitimately called him a liar for claiming that health budgets have fallen - so a political infant, too!
SOCIALISM IS MORONIC!
