Alastair.

Like the Christian I am, I am always delighted to see rehabilitation in any individual. In the mighty victory in the Second Test v India, Alastair Cook did right all the things which he had previously been doing wrong.
His bowling changes were intelligent; he inspired the 'old guard'; he led from the front and above all he barely put a foot wrong with his fielding positions. Where such dramatic changes came from, I cannot say - and it was only one match - but there was sufficient in his captaincy for me to actually reconsider my calls for his removal. (For the moment, at least.)
