Halal Labelling On The Way?

The Government may introduce a system of labelling for meat products indicating whether animals have been stunned before being killed, environment minister George Eustice MP has hinted. Ritually slaughtered animals are typically not pre-stunned meaning that Halal or Kosher meat would be more easily identifiable by consumers.
