Christians at risk Please sign our

In the House of Lords, UKIP
Peer Lord Pearson of Rannoch’s query whether reading the Bible in public would
soon be classified as an anti-Muslim hate crime was dismissed as fanciful. But
only last year street preacher Mike Overd was convicted of a public order
offence after quoting an allegedly ‘homophobic’ verse from the Bible. This was
in response to a direct question from a self-identifying gay … who asked his
opinion.
The Government’s
proposed counter extremism strategy to tackle Islamic terrorism defines as
extremism anything that conflicts with our newly defined British values. Under
these measures, therefore, anyone expressing Biblical teaching could potentially
be labelled an extremist and be subject to arrest. This is direct
violation of the right to freedom of belief and speech. If we don’t make
our voice heard we will lose our ancient freedoms. Society as we know it will
cease to exist.
Please sign our petition,
David Cameron, uphold the UK's
Christian heritage. Protect freedom of speech and belief.
