NICK CLEGG was skewered on the BBC for “attacking Brits” and siding with the European Union on Brexit.
The former Liberal Democrat leader was told he was biased towards
Brussels and refused to back UK negotiators.
Speaking on the Daily
Politics, Tory activist Tim Montgomerie
said the former Deputy Prime Minister should consider how
difficultEuropean
Union chiefs were being in the Brexit talks.
Mr Montgomerie, former Chief of Staff to Iain Duncan Smith in 2003, said
Mr Clegg should condemn the EU.
He said: “What would be great to hear from people like you Nick is
condemning the European side of these
negotiations.
