So!

There is a raving conspiracy going on against the use of 'so' at the beginning of a sentence. Why so? It is inoffensive and even the French, who themselves are not always thus, use 'donc' to start many a sentence.
Why is it it any more offensive than 'pues' in Spanish or even 'well' or 'well then' in English?
Petty and silly.
So. Let me get down to business. Let us try to expunge the real criminals such as the gratuitous use of 'like' in so many sentences uttered by terminal numpties. Yer know what I mean, like? - Innit?
How about the dreadful use of 'you know' shoved into sentences at every pause?
These are the true enemies of decent English!
