The Victorians.

The Victorians used to refer to 'the deserving poor' - as opposed to the other kind, I suppose.
Okay, we could not use those forms of words today but I do think that greater attempts should be made to distinguish.
I desperately want to help those who, through no fault of their own, are in financial trouble or need help.
The Scriptures are not very keen on assistance for the second of the two groups.

One of our many social problems today is that some Christians do not see that being discriminating, in so many circumstances, is a genuine  positive!
To put simply, why should someone undeserving have access to my hard-earned cash?
