Boo, Hiss!

 A cricket law which dates back over 250 years has been amended to replace the term "batsman" with "batter" in a bid to make the sport more inclusive. The gender-neutral word will replace the current phrase, which has been a part of the cricket rule book since 1744, with immediate effect.24 Sept 2021
