The Great Commission.

So just how is a Christian supposed to live his/her life? How is a church expected to function?
Certainly, a Mr Foster on the Letters Pages of The Yorkshire Post has little clue. He demands to know why Christian Churches are not helping the young unemployed!
Put simply, we are a nation where the workers pay huge amounts of tax for dealing with just this problem. Christians might be more expected to care for those who 'are falling through the cracks in the system'.
There are three absolute priorities for Christians:
1) To love God with all the strength that they can muster!
2) To love their neighbours as much as they love themselves and
3) To recognise the importance of The Great Commission and to act upon it.

In all fairness to Mr Foster, acting upon The Great Commission might possibly come via 'helping the young unemployed' - or indeed other targeted groups but if the Church is doing this duty in other ways - then so be it. Whatever is most effective!
Ask a SINGLE question though, just how many churches put anything of significance into local evangelism?
