Supertram routes cause major mayhem in the
construction and are frighteningly expensive.
Just needing a pole into the ground every twenty yards
or so, monorails can cover three or for times as many routes for the same money and with minimal disruption during construction.
Why are they not in evidence? (Butlins at Skegness showed the way half a century ago
- and Billy Butlin never wasted cash on things which were not cost
effective!)
