Being Sufficiently Nice To Consign People To Hell?

So - churches no longer dare mention Hell. "Oh, it might put some people off. They won't like it! It's not nice."

Tra la la. Better to leave the unregenerate in ignorance of their ultimate destination, huh?

So many church ministers go into 'universal salvation heresy' mode - which most probably don't actually believe in - whenever they take the funerals of non-Christians. This is because "It would be wrong to upset the bereaved."

The unsaved and the bereaved are going to be a damn sight more upset if they end up being deposited into Hell because of an attitude which is nothing less than cowardice from Christ's Church.
