Time for hostels?

What chance? From: CE Haywood, Doncaster Road, Whitley, Goole.

WELL, I thought I had heard it all, until overhearing this loud conversation in a café between two girls."What, you're pregnant again? Do you want it?" said one. "Well, it's another 30 quid a week," said the other. I wonder what chance this child has?


The time has come to stop paying benefits to single mothers just for the sake of it.
As a nation we must look at the use of hostels for young mothers where they have no other support.
It will prevent thinking as seen in this letter from today's Yorkshire Post - which I suspect is far from uncommon.
Permitting the feckless to jump housing lists using pregnancy as a device must end!
[PS. This is far from an attack on single mothers - but is targeted against a particular type of single mother!]
