Faith.

I always worry about Christians, usually in the media, who claim to have (had) 'a crisis of faith'.
No problems up to that point - we all surely do. What is troubling however, is when they go on to speak of 'doubting the existence of God' as a part of this.
No 'born again' believer who has encountered God's intervention in his/her life can possibly say this.
The 'crisis of faith' surely means something entirely different. It means: you feel that your relationship with God is no longer close; you are unsure of God's purpose in your life; you have stopped hearing 'that still small voice'; your prayers are seemingly unanswered; you doubt the path that you are following. Any and all of these are what can happen at times to believers.
If your problem is a periodical disbelief in God - then I must ask you whether or not God was only ever a mere opinion to you?
Should that be the case - go right back to basics.
Of course - unrepented sin in your life may well be the root cause of a great many spiritual problems.
