In the EU it is decided that we are a tourist economy, which is why our government has happily accepted closing down so many of our industries. From coal to petrol stations, to steel plants, more than half of our farming, export products abattoirs, to giant industrial producers. We have no verifiable figures, except for fishing, (£5 billion). What about metrication, or the cost of administering the EU's VAT?
