I have just been listening to a 'radio 'God slot' given by a Roman Catholic Priest.
Sadly, he had no economic awareness whatsoever and thought that 'taxes could easily be raised for the majority so that benefits could increase' - something which in many cases is not even desirable. He thought that the minimum wage had to be pushed up dramatically. So just how many jobs would his methods lose?
Sigh!
