Siemens have recently announced they’re going to create 1,000 jobs in offshore wind.  They say that outside the EU, this investment would have been difficult.

Do remember that every job created in the wind industry puts prices to customers up, and costs 3 to 4 jobs in the real world.  If it’s investment which will harm the UK economy, we need to be very careful about pandering to that lobby.
