The man has stated that 'migrants do not affect job prospects in the UK'. How can this be?
Let us say that there are some 25 million UK jobs and X represents numbers of potential workers in the country. Let us now say that 100 migrant workers enter the country. The first figure remains unchanged but the second is now X+100.
