Having worked myself with a great many children from minority backgrounds, I am unsurprised by what is reported above. So many of their parents possess a much better attitude to both learning and achievement than do so many British parents. (If I can say it without charges of being racist, I must admit that I always found more Chinese children on the ball than any other identifiable group.)
