Odd Lib Dems & The EU.

The Lib Dems have an odd relationship with the EU. In 2010 their manifesto offered an In-Out referendum on the EU. They got into coalition, dropped the pledge. In 2015 they opposed a referendum, then pushed Remain. Now they want a re-run of the referendum they didn't want.

A thought. A referendum on the deal looks increasingly possible, maybe even likely. There is every chance, though, that ‘remain’ would lose that referendum. Time to dial down on remoaning and start preparing...
