EVERY single breach MUST result in custody if the system is to work at all! (Harsh? - No! They were given this disposal as an alternative to custody in the first place!)
When the ASBO arrived, we magistrates were promised that 'all breaches would mean custody!' - Well, the last figure I had on that was that 94% were NOT being jailed.
