England Humiliated In Third ODI v Ireland.

This was a dreadful performance by England. The target of 329 which they had set for Ireland appeared to be far better than it actually was on a superb batting pitch.

Before I begin to lambast England properly, I must congratulate Ireland for their most worthy victory. Well done, guys - some decent bowling, fielding and excellent batsmanship. You were at the top of your game. Super century to Stirling!

England had FIVE of their top order batsmen fail - with some of the now customary appalling batting from Moeen Ali. 

Jason Roy failed yet AGAIN and it was left to Eoin Morgan to make a century alongside decent knocks from Banton and bowler, Willey.

The target set flattered to deceive, so easy was batting on this wicket.

The England fielding was dire with dropped catches a-plenty.

The bowling was simply indifferent and frequently unintelligent. The number of wides and no balls alone cost England the victory.

I doubt that four of this team could manage to win a place in a proper tournament side.
